Word Limit: 
    - Article, Story: Min 300 words and Max of 2000 words
    - Poems: Min 40 words
Contest Start Date: 22nd July 2024
Last Date for Submission: 10th August 2024
Audience Voting Last Date: 18th August 2024 
Result Announcement Date: 20th August 2024 

Prize Money:

• 1st Prize     : Rs 4,000
• 2nd Prize     : Rs 2,000
• 3rd Prize     : Rs 1,000
• Best Poetry : Rs 1,000
• Best Original Fictional Story   : Rs 1,000
• Best Article on Indian History : Rs 1,000

Topic Choices: India, Indian History, Vision for Developed India, Indian Culture and Heritage, Eminent Indian Personalities.

Submission Guidelines

• Request write access by August 8th,2024 to avoid last minute submission issues. Refer article submission guide for detailed instructions.
• Ensure the topic for your article, story or Poetry is from this list of topics and is purely about India and its glory.
• Ensure you include hashtags #AyraWritingContest and #IndiaIndependenceDay2024 without fail in the end. 
• Optionally, you can also download the Ayra app from Google Play store by clicking here or search for "Ayra" on the Google Play Store to publish your article for the contest.

Voting and Scoring:

• Audience Voting (40% Weightage): The number of unique reads, actual read time your post receives during this period will contribute to your Audience Score. Therefore, be sure to share the link to your article with family and friends to maximize this score
• Judging Criteria (60% Weightage): Articles will be judged based on quality, originality, language proficiency, and formatting. Each post can score up to 100 points (40 from audience votes, 60 from judges). If more than one post is submitted, the highest-scoring one will be considered for winning.

Participants can win only one prize and winners of June 2024 Writing Contest are not eligible for this contest.

Winners Announcement

Winners will be announced on August 20th, 2024. They will be contacted for prizes and certificates post-announcement by our team.

Additional Instructions: You can submit a maximum of 4 posts.. Only the higher-scoring post will be considered. Winners will be judged across all languages, and there will be no separate prizes based on language.
