ಮಾಯೆ ಒಂದು ಸಿಗದ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯ ಹಿಂದೆ ಅಲೆದು , ನರಳುವ ಯುವಪೀಳಿಗೆಯ ಕಥೆ ಇದು 

ಈ ಕಥೆ ಕೇವಲ ಕಾಲ್ಪನಿಕ , ಎಲ್ಲಿ ಬರುವ ಹೆಸರುಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಪಾತ್ರಗಳು ಯಾರಿಗಾದರೂ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಲ್ಲಿ ಅದು ಕೇವಲ ಕಾಲ್ಪನಿಕ 

ಸಂಜಯ್ ಒಬ್ಬ ಅಂತರ್ಮುಖಿ ಹುಡುಗ ಹೈ ಸ್ಕೂಲಿನಿಂದ ಪದವಿ ಪೂರ್ವದ ವರೆಗೆ ವಸತಿ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲೇ ಬೆಳೆದ ಅವನಿಗೆ , ಒಂದಿಬ್ಬರ ಹೊರತು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಗೆಳೆಯರಿಲ್ಲ ಅವ್ನಿಗೆ 

ಪದವಿ ಪೂರ್ವ ಮುಗಿಸಿ ಇಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್ ಜಾಯಿನ್ ಆದ ಸಂಜು , ಅದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹೊಸ ಅನುಭವ , ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ವಸತಿ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳೆದ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಇದು ಒಂದು ಸಮುದ್ರದ ರೀತಿ ಭಾಸವಾಗಿದೆ 
 

ಆ ಕಾಲೇಜಿಗೆ ಅವನಿದ್ದ ಜಾಗದಿಂದ ಕೆಲವೇ ಬಸ್ಸುಗಳ ಲಭ್ಯತೆ ಇತ್ತು ಅದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತಿ ದಿನ ಸಂಜು , ಕಾಲೇಜು ಶುರುವಾಗುವ ಮುನ್ನವೇ ಬಂದು ಕ್ಯಾಂಟೀನ್ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂರುತ್ತಿದ್ದ 

ಅವನ ಪಾಡಿಗೆ ಅವನ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರೊಡನೆ ಕೂತು ಮಾತಾಡುತ್ತ ತರಗತಿ ಶುರುವಾಗುವ ವರೆಗೆ ಕಾಲ ಕೆಳೆಯುತಿದ್ದ ಸಂಜು 

ಸಂಜು ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ವರ್ಗದ ಕುಟುಂಬದಿಂದ ಬಂದ ಹುಡುಗ , ಓದುವುದರಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಂಕ್ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಇದ್ದರು ಮೋಸವಿಲ್ಲದ್ದ ಹಾಗೆ ತಕ್ಕ ಮಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಓದುತಿದ್ದ 

ಸಂಜುವಿನ ಅಪ್ಪನಿಗೆ ತನ್ನ ಮಗ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಓದ್ಲಿ ಎಷ್ಟು ಖರ್ಚಾದರೂ ಪರವಾಗಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂಬ ಯೋಚನೆ ಪ್ರತಿ ಪೋಷಕರಿಗಿರುವ ಹಾಗ್ ಇವರಿಗೂ ಇತ್ತು , ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅಂತ ಅತ್ತ್ಯುನ್ನತ್ತ ಕಾಲೇಜಿಗೆ ಇವನನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಸಿದ್ದರು 

ಅಂದು ಆ ದಿನ ಎಲ್ಲ ದಿನದಂತೆ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ ಅವನಿಗೆ , ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಜನ ಇಲ್ಲದ ಕ್ಯಾಂಟೀನ್ ಗೆ ಅವ್ಳು ಬಂದಿದ್ದಳು 

ಆಕೆಯನ್ನ ಅವನು ಮೊದಲ ಸಲ ನೋಡ್ದಿದ್ದು ಆದರೂ ಆ ನೋಟ ಮರೆಯುವಂತೆ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ , ಆಕೆಯ ಸಹಜ ಉಡುಪು ಆಡಂಬರವಿಲ್ಲದ್ದ ಸೌಂಧರ್ಯ ಕಂಡು ಅವನ ಮನಸು ಮಾರುಹೋಗಿತ್ತು ಆಕೆ ಅವಳ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರ ಬಳಿ ಯಾವುದೇ ಅಲಂಕಾರ , ಅಹಂಕಾರ ವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಎಲ್ಲರೊಳಗೊಂದಾಗಿ ಹೊಂದಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಆ ಹೊಂದಾಣಿಕೆ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬಹಳವೇ ಹಿಡಿಸಿತ್ತು , ಪ್ರತಿದಿನ ಇದೆ ಅಭ್ಯಾಸವಾಗಿತ್ತು ಅವನಿಗೆ ನೋಡುತ್ತಾ ಕಿವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಷ್ಟದ ಹಾಡುಕೇಳುತ್ತ ಆ ಸಹಜ ಸುಂದರಿಯ ನೆನೆಯುತ್ತ ಕಳೆದ 

ಆಕೆಯ ಹೆಸರು ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ , ಏನು ಗೊತಿಲ್ಲದ್ದೆ ಆಕೆಗೆ ಮಾರುಹೋಗಿದ್ದ ಸಂಜು , ಕಾಲೇಜು ಮುಗಿಸಿ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋದ ಸಂಜು ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ excuse me ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಟಿವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಸಾರ ಆಗತಿತ್ತು , ಈ ಸಿನಿಮಾವನ್ನ ಅವನು ಮೊದಲೇ ಹಲವು ಬಾರಿ ನೋಡಿದ್ದನಾದ್ರು , ಈ ಭಾರಿ ಅದು ಬೇರೆಯ ಅನುಭವ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದೆ , ಅವನಲ್ಲಿ ಭಯವು ಕೂಡ ಆಗ್ತಿದೆ , ಆ ಸಹಜ ಸುಂದರಿಯನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಿ ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡ್ಬಿಡ್ತಿನೋ ನಾನು ಎಂದುಕೊಂಡು ಆಕೆಯನ್ನ ಮಾತಾಡಿಸ್ಬೇಕು , ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರಾಗಿ ನಂತರ ಎಲ್ಲ ಹೇಳಿಬಿಡಬೇಕು ಎಂಬುದು ಅವ್ನಲ್ಲಿತವಕಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ 

ಆಕೆಯನ್ನ ಫೇಸ್ಬುಕ್ ಮೂಲಕ ಮಾತಾಡಿಸೋಣ ಅನ್ಕೊಂಡರೆ ಇವ್ನಿಗೆ ಆಕೆಯ ಹೆಸರೇ ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ , ನೇರವಾಗಿ ಮಾತಾಡಿ ಹೆಸರು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುಲು ಇವನಿಗೆ ಭಯ ಏನು ಮಾಡೋದು ಎಂದು ಚಿಟಿಸುತ್ತಿದವನಿಗೆ ಆ ದೇವರೇ ದಾರಿ ತೋರಿದ ಅನ್ಸುತ್ತೆ ಆಕೆಯ ಹೆಸರು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಆ ದಿನವೂ ಕಡೆಗೂ ಬಂದಿತ್ತು 

ಅದು ಇಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್ ಮೊದಲನೇ ಸೆಮಿಸ್ಟರ್ನ ಮೊದಲನೇ ಇಂಟರ್ನಲ್ಸ್ ಸಮಯ , ಮೊದಲ್ನೇ ವರ್ಷವಾ ದರಿಂದ ಇಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್ ನ ಎಲ್ಲ ಬೇಸಿಕ್ ವಿಷಯಗಳು ಪಠ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಡಿರುತ್ತೆ , ಈತ ಸಿವಿಲ್ ಇಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದ ಅವಳು ಕಂಪ್ಯೂಟರ್ ಸೈನ್ಸ್ ನ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿ

ಆ ಇಂಟರ್ನಲ್ಸ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಅದೃಷ್ಟವೆಂಬಂತೆ ಆಕೆಯು ಕೂಡ ಇವನ ತರಗತಿಯಲ್ಲೇ ಅಲೋಟ್ ಆಗಿತ್ತು ಸಂಜುವಿಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲಿಲ್ಲದ ಖುಷಿ , ವಿಪರ್ಯಾಸ ನೋಡಿ ಆಕೆಗೆ ಈತ ಯಾರು ಅಂತಲೇ ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ , ಈತನಿಗೆ ಅವಳ ಹೆಸರು ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ , ಆದರು ಆಕೆಯನ್ನ ಮನಸಿನಿಂದ ಬಲ್ಲವನನಾಗಿದ್ದ

ಇಂಟರ್ನಲ್ಸ್ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರ್ಯಾರು ಎಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂರ್ಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ತರಗತಿ ಹೊರಗಡೆ ಹೆಸರಿನ ಜಜೊತೆಗೇ ಬೆಂಚಿನ  ನಂಬರ್ ಹಾಕಿದ್ದರು 
 

ಇಂಟರ್ನಲ್ಸ್ ಮುಗಿದ ಕೂಡಲೇ , ಎಲ್ಲ ಹೊರಟ ನಂತರ ಸಂಜು ಅಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನ ನೋಡಿದ್ದ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಪ್ಯೂಟರ್ ಸೈನ್ಸ್ ನ ಪಟ್ಟಿ ಮಾತ್ರ ಗಮನಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಅಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಹುಡ್ಗರ ಹೆಸರು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಹುಡ್ಗಿಯರ ಹೆಸರುಗಳನ್ನೂ ನೋಡಿದ ಸಹನಾ , ಋಷಿತ , ಸುಹಾನಾ ,ಶ್ರುತಿ , ಸ್ಮ್ರಿತಿ , ಪ್ರಣೀತ , ತನಿಷಾ , ತನುಜಾ ಎಂಬೆಲ್ಲ ಇತ್ತು ಅವನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಫೋನ್ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಿಯ ಯಾ ಫೋಟೋ ಕ್ಲಿಕ್ಕಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು , ಖುಷಿಯಲ್ಲೇ ಮನೆಗೆ ಮರಳಿದ ಸಂಜು 

ಮುಂದೆ ಸಂಜು ಆಕೆಯ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಸಂಜು ಹೀಗೆ ಕಂಡು ಹಿಡಿದ ??

Sanjay is an introverted boy who grew up in a residential school from high school to pre-graduation, Avni doesn't have many friends except one or two.
