Finding the right filter

We as humans always  express a desire for perfection and security in various aspects of your life, and for that we keep searching for the right "filter". But perfection is often an unattainable ideal, and the pursuit of it can come at a great personal cost. I have tried this thought in a form of a poem.

Finding the right filter

My picture should look perfect

The water should taste pure

The coffee I make should be aromatic

So I am finding the right filter for sure

Searching for the right man

For making my life secured

The future should be bright

So I am finding a right filter for sure

In search of good friends

And family goals to procure

The journey tiring and painful

So I am finding the right filter for sure

In search of the right filter,I  have lost so much of myself,

And feeling so insecure

I want my carefree days back

But need a filter even for this I am sure.
