BJP Releases Manifesto 'Modi Ki Guarantee 2024' for Lok Sabha Elections

The BJP unveiled its 2024 Lok Sabha Elections manifesto / 'Sankalp Patra' with the tagline 'Modi Ki Guarantee 2024' in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, party president JP Nadda, and other senior leaders at the party headquarters in New Delhi on Sunday, April 14th, 2024.

PM Modi said 

"The entire country awaits the BJP's 'Sankalp Patra.' The party has delivered on its promises on the ground in the last 10 years... This 'Sankalp Patra' empowers all four pillars of a developed India - youth, women, the poor, and farmers," 

Here are some key Highlights from BJPs Manifesto:

• Implement the Uniform Civil Code if voted to power. BJP would also introduce "One Nation, One Election" and "Common Electoral Roll" 
• Free Ration to 80+ crore citizens for the Next 5 Years under PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana
• Free and Quality Health Care of up to ₹5 lakh to poor families, transgenders & Senior Citizens over the age of 70 under Ayushman Bharat Yojana
• Free electricity to poor households under PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana.
• Increase in MSP for major crops and providing annual financial assistance of ₹6,000 to farmers under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.
• Launch an indigenous Bharat Krishi satellite for farm-related activities like crop forecasting, pesticide application, irrigation, soil health, and weather forecasting, among others.
• Expand Bharat's Startup ecosystem to tier-2 and tier-3 cities with additional funding & mentoring.
• Developing Sustainable Cities with more green spaces like parks, playgrounds etc., revive water bodies like lakes and ponds and develop other natural spaces to make cities more adaptable, sustainable and people-friendly.
• Empower three crore rural women to become Lakhpati Didis.
• Expanding Shakti Desks (Women Help Desks) in police stations for timely investigation and resolution of issues.
• Delivering Government Services at Doorstep to senior citizens
• Facilitate Convenient Teerth Yatra with State Governments to ensure convenient facilities for senior citizens to undertake sacred pilgrimages across the country.
• Registration of Gig workers on eShram and reach out to such shramik bandhus to help them avail the benefits of various programmes that they are eligible for.
• Expand Vande Bharat trains to every corner of the country. 3 models of Vande Bharat will run in the country – Vande Bharat Sleeper, Vande Bharat Chaircar and Vande Bharat Metro
• Assist states in transforming the police into a tech-savvy, tech-trained and tech-equipped force through the Police Modernization Scheme
• Focus on the treatment of cervical cancer, breast cancer and osteoporosis, among other ailments.
• Implementing Law to Prevent Paper Leaks
• Truck drivers would be given modern facilities on the highways.
• We will facilitate IOA to bid for hosting the Olympic Games in 2036, and develop sports infrastructure like stadiums and state-of-the-art training centres to host major international sporting events.
• Strengthen our paramilitary forces with state-of-the-art equipment and trained personnel to eliminate Left Wing Extremism in all its forms.
