AYRA Article Writing Contest - March 2024

Inviting professional writers, journalists, students and amateur writers for ‘Open Theme’ Article Writing Contest.

CONTEST REGISTRATION IS FREE !!

Eligibility: Age 13+

Languages: English, Hindi and Kannada

Word Limit: Min 600 words and Max of 2500 words

Contest Start Date: 16th March 2024

Last Date for Submission: 31st March 2024

Result Announcement Date: 15th April 2024 

Prize Money:

• 1st Prize   : Rs 5,000
• 2nd Prize   : Rs 3,000
• 3rd Prize   : Rs 2,000

Submission Guidelines

• Request write access by March 30th to avoid last minute submission issues. Refer article submission guide for detailed instructions.
• Topic Choices: Free selection, except for restrictions listed below. Potential categories include Technology, Lifestyle, Food, Travel, Education, etc.
• Topic Restrictions: No explicit content, political/religious topics, discriminatory/hateful content, or promotional material

Voting and Scoring

Audience Voting: March 16th 2024 - April 14th 2024. The number of reads and likes your article receives during this period will contribute to your Audience Score. Therefore, be sure to share the link to your article with family and friends to maximize this score

Judging Criteria: Articles will be judged based on quality, originality, language proficiency, and formatting. Each article can score up to 100 points (50 from audience votes, 50 from judges). If two articles are submitted, the highest-scoring one will be considered for winning.

Participants can win only one prize.

Winners Announcement

Winners will be announced on April 15th, 2024. They will be contacted for prizes and certificates post-announcement by our team.

Additional Instructions

• Follow the article submission guide for submission of your article.
• You can submit a maximum of two articles to maximize your winning chances. Only the higher-scoring article will be considered.Winners will be judged across all languages, and there will be no separate prizes based on language.
